Where the money sits, and who can move it

Your money kept apart from ours. Sign-in without text messages. Card numbers we never see. Two people on anything that matters.

Intended arrangements. Our application hasn’t been decided, and no provider named here is contracted.

Safeguarding

Your money, kept apart from ours

Segregation, not insurance. The money customers hold with us is intended to sit in its own account, away from everything Ahvanah owns.

  • Held in a designated safeguarding account with a UK credit institution
  • Never mixed with Ahvanah’s own money, and never lent out
  • Reconciled every working day, to the penny
  • Audited every year by an independent auditor
Signing in

No text-message codes. Ever.

Text messages can be redirected to someone else’s phone. So sign-in uses a passkey or an authenticator app, set up before the account is switched on — and it checks again at the moments that matter.

Card details

Card numbers never touch us

When you reveal a card’s number, it comes straight from the card processor into a secure panel on your screen. It never passes through our systems, our logs or our error reports.

  1. Your screenYou tap “show details”. The number appears in a secure panel.
  2. The card processorHolds the number and sends it to that panel directly. This is the only place it lives.
  3. AhvanahSees a reference to the card, never the number or the security code.
Approvals

Two people on anything that matters

One compromised login shouldn’t be enough to empty an account.

  • Payments above a limit you set wait for a second person
  • The approver sees the exact payee, account and amount we hold — not a copy the browser made
  • Change any of it, and the approval is void

Ahvanah has applied to become a small electronic money institution. Until that’s decided, everything on this page describes how it’s intended to work.
